Luckily, in more recent years, more and more brands have developed frozen keto pizza options, making it more readily available for a quick treat. Tips on Selecting Keto Pizza
- Don’t just look at net carbs; make sure to review the ingredients list and choose the one with minimal ingredients.
- Avoid pizzas that contain inflammatory oils such as sunflower or canola oil.
- “Cauliflower Crust” does not automatically mean low carb. Many companies highlight “cauliflower crust” on the package but the ingredients list may include higher-carb flours and starches.
- You can always opt for keto pizza crusts and add your own sauce and toppings, to control the sodium content and prevent any non-keto additives.

These pizza crusts by Unbun are not only grain-free, keto-friendly, and paleo-friendly, but they are also vegan.
Most keto pizza crusts have an “eggy” taste, as the base of the crust is cauliflower rather than all-purpose or whole-wheat flour. However, that is not the case here! By using vegan-friendly ingredients such as coconut milk and nutritional yeast instead of cheese, and ground flax in place of eggs, this crusts suits anyone with an egg allergy or a vegan lifestyle.

These may be okay if you follow a dirty keto diet and are certainly better than some traditional frozen pizza brands. However, we would still suggest opting for a cleaner keto frozen pizza version such as Cali’flour and Cappello’s.
