Can I Add Someone to My XSport Membership?

XSport offers many promotions when it comes to adding a family member to your membership. These options vary based on location and times of year.

However, you can expect to be able to easily add someone to your XSport membership in a way that saves you both money!

Does XSport Offer Any Discounts?

XSport also offers a range of promotions and discounts related to your personal membership.

For example, you may expect to see a promotion for a free one-on-one class or a ‘buy a year, get one free’ deal that runs directly through XSport.

Third party companies like Groupon also provide many different discount options that are catered toward certain locations and their amenities.

The Chicago location boasts a Groupon deal of 70% off UV or spray tans at 9 locations around the Chicago area, to give a glimpse into what you may expect to see.

XSport Fitness Membership Benefits

Members of XSport can plan to have access to a variety of amenities including fitness classes, supervised play areas for children, whirlpools and lap pools, a sauna room, and full-service spas and salons.

XSport puts emphasis on the balance between working out to feel good, but also staying healthy and having fun while doing so.

What better incentive to go do some strength training than to get a spa experience and accessible childcare, too?

On top of those amenities, many locations also have rock climbing walls for a more interactive full-body workout experience.

Is XSport Better than Planet Fitness?

When comparing two different gyms with different amenities, packages, and other offerings, there are many things to consider.

When it comes to product quality, XSport is ranked slightly lower than Planet Fitness coming in at 2.7 stars out of 5 versus 3.3 stars out of 5.

In comparing the pricing and customer service of both gyms, they come in at just over 3 stars out of 5.

Thinking about amenities, however, XSport comes in at a much higher satisfaction rate than Planet Fitness. This is because Planet Fitness does not offer nearly as many amenities (such as childcare, sports courts, spa services, etc.)

XSport Fitness Cancellation Policy

Regardless of which plan you have with XSport, there is no charge for cancellation.

This is a great selling point, because you know that you’ll have the security to cancel any plans that are not working for you, as long as you’ve gone through one month of a billing cycle. This means that they require written 30-day notice of cancellation to fully end your membership.

However, this is quite standard for gyms to confirm a cancellation request and allows you some time to finish out your membership without a rush.

Does XSport Fitness offer a Free Trial?

XSport does in fact offer a free trial period of 7 days. Technically called a guest pass, this trial period serves to give potential members a chance to really explore the amenities and gym culture before committing to paying for any period of time.

This free 7-day membership includes a free personal training session, free X-IT group training session, and 7 days of group fitness classes and UV tanning. On top of all that, a free hydromassage is included!

XSport Fitness Guest Pass

When it comes to a free trial and guest pass, the two really do go hand-in-hand.

The guest pass, which is what any new members would use as their free trial to the gym, would allow your guest to go with you and experience the main parts of a Basic One Club membership.

This guest pass is a great way to show any friends or family all of the best parts of your gym, while being able to work out together and attend the same sessions if desired.

Does XSport Have Any Hidden Fees?

The only extra fees that members have to pay on top of monthly fees is the initiation fee, which is only $1 under most plans.

Additionally, one personal training session is included for free for all membership types. However, any further personal training sessions are going to cost around $50 for a one-hour session, depending on the location.

Other than those two fees, everything is included in the XSport membership which is a transparent and cost-effective option.

Which Classes Does XSport Fitness Offer?

  1. XSport offers multiple classes from X-IT interval training to yoga classes and everything in between.
  2. You can choose to focus on cardio + strength, attend a water fitness session, try out some les mills, or take a spinning class.
  3. If you’re looking for something a bit more exciting, try a dance class to spice it up!

The classes that XSport offers do not leave much to be desired, thanks to their wide range of options and flexible schedules.
